The new Princess Tatiana – her true age?

28, August, 2010 Discuss it What they said

Every published report on Tatiana Blatnik says she was born in 1980 and that she’s 29 years old. That means she was born the same year I was, and is even a few months younger (I turned 30 in April).

When I first saw photos of her, I thought she was around Nikolaos’ age. He is 41, and I estimated Tatiana at about 38. Don’t get me wrong, I think she is beautiful and statuesque, but she doesn’t look 29.

Any thoughts?

(Ed. – This was not intended to be rude in any way, I was simply curious to see what other people thought. If I have caused offense, I apologize.)

She does look about 34 or 35 and yes very beautiful. Apparnetly she left Aiglon boarding school in July 1998 whne she took her A Level exams so she should have been 18 then or 17 if she had an August Birthday. I do think it would be difficult for her not to be the correct age to be at school and I believe you write your date of birth on the exam papers so if she is older that may not be good thing.

I showed a couple people her picture just here and they where genuinly shocked that she was 29 though. Travel and sun and smoking can do a lot also I think I’ve read possibly having an elderly father can influence the aging process in the children. It’s something to do with the chromosomes apparently. I believe her father was older and committed suicide before he could be extradited to Venezuela on corruption/embezlement charges. Her mother Blanca his mistress left him with the two small children when she found out he was in trouble. That must have been difficult for the children. Tatiana has a nice life and married into the class her family hoped/pushed for, so she is no doubt glowing and very pleased she got what she wanted.

I actually don’t think the post by Mandys Royalty was intended to be rude – though it’s more irrelevant than anything as there’s simply no “conspiracy to hide her true age.” This is a high profile person and the public does comment on appearances for people who have highly publicized relationships, weddings, etc. There are many reasons she could look older (I agree that she does – though she’s undeniably stunning at any age IMO) – genetics, sun exposure, dieting, smoking….

I apologize. I wasn’t trying to be rude. I was just really curious as to what other people thought, because I was truly surprised that they listed her age as 29.

You know, that post was pretty darn rude. How would you like it if someone insisted that you looked 10 years older than you are? Just because she doesn’t look like your idea of 29 doesn’t mean that she isn’t that age. I think there has been enough press about this relationship that if she was lying about her age, someone would’ve caught it by now. And, besides, what business of yours is it, anyway?

Observing the pictures of her weddings and previous engagements and comparing them to those of princess Victoria of Sweden who’s 33, Tatiana looks way older… I’ll give her the benefif of doubt and say she’s 35, but not younger.
