An Explanation

29, September, 2009 Discuss it What they said

There’s going to be a follow-up commentary for my recent post, A modern monarchy, American-style. I felt it necessary because I should explain exactly why I changed from being a supporter of the Queen, to a monarchist, back to being just a supporter of Her Majesty.

It’s an in-depth political look at things, and you can toss in your two cents about it as well. I like discussions about these kinds of things (as you can probably tell!).

See you then!

Yhis text speaks for it self.

This is an extract of my book: Not In Her Majesty’s Service

» So is it all about continuity? «, Arthur added, » what do you think would happen if the British Crown abdicates and the Vatican completely turned into a Museum?«

» A financial chaos! «, was Miguel’s reply, » Tourism, the hotel industry, the airline industry, dealing in art and a lot more would collapse. «

» What would Rome be without the Vatican? « Mill asked, »what about all the art treasures in the Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, what about Michelangelo or Rafael without the Pope? The same would occur for London and its traditional allies. Without the British Crown all around us would, all of a sudden, belong to the past and all of us would only be museum guards of our nations«.

» And there is more, my friends, there is more «, Arthur warned lifting his forefinger, » a part of our own perception would get lost. Important personalities like the British Crown and the Pope in Rome represent living metaphors of our culture and history of our civilisation. They silently bear our thoughts and feelings by speaking and acting to the world expressing our own perception of things. You should also bear in mind that the Queen is not only
Queen of England, but also head of the Anglican Church and the Commonwealth. Top secret documents go via her office. Her Majesty furthermore connects Canada, Great Britain and Australia. The importance of the Pope in Rome is indisputable, especially during these times of religious conflicts between Christians, Jews and Muslims.«
    About me:
I am a private detective for over 40 years with mutable skills and credentials.
I am a supporter of freedom, against dictatorship and oppression.
I am also in favor of monarchy; with a little more power to the monarch.
