I apologize if anyone was spammed with an email ending in “@mandysroyalty.org”. The spammers had so many variants it was impossible to know what to expect. But my server helped me sort things out, so not only are the spams history, but I’m off the blacklist (which I did nothing to warrant to begin with) of WhoIs.
Yay!

The links have been updated. Definitely try to visit the German Hohenzollern site. Very interesting and a beautiful website.
Hard to imagine that a family of warrior kings is now ‘online’. But, things are very modern now I suppose!

I wondered what you thought of this interesting quandary:
My website’s email address is a spammer and got spammed…by itself!!
Somehow, spammers took over my domain name email “@mandysroyalty.org”, put various names in front of it, and used it to harass people. When the innocents would not accept the spam, the email got bounced back. And because it ended with my domain name, they all got bounced back to….. me.
My site is hosted by FuitadNET.com and, although I have posted in their forum, opened a support ticket, AND contacted a forum administrator by IM, they STILL haven’t told me why this has happened. And it has been a month. I would like to know why it happened and how to prevent it from happening again, but no one will tell me anything. I pay a great rate for my domain, but this is just not worth it.
Here’s a sample of style. There were 82 others just like this in my inbox:
Subject: Returned mail: User unknown
Date: November 2, 2005 9:13:30 AM EST
From: MAILER-DAEMON@aol.com
To: tatisipesb@mandysroyalty.org (Who the heck is this!?!? I am info@mandysroyalty.org)
*** ATTENTION ***
Your e-mail is being returned to you because there was a problem with its
delivery. The address which was undeliverable is listed in the section
labeled: “—– The following addresses had permanent fatal errors —–”.
etc. etc. etc…………
So if you have received spam from an email address ending with this domain, I apologize. I am contacting people who will actually do something to help right now, so wish me luck.

Lord Lichfield, the photographer who took the official wedding pictures of the Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer, has died aged 66. He had suffered a major stroke. The Queen was among the first to offer her condolences, saying she was “deeply saddened” by the news.
In a glittering career spanning 40 years, he captured many iconic figures on camera. In one memorable picture Sixties singer Marsha Hunt posed naked, complete with a huge afro hairdo. Other famous faces to pass before his lens included Michael Caine, Roman Polanski and Joanna Lumley.
But he will almost certainly best be remembered for his images of the royal family. The son of Viscount Anson and Princess Anne of Denmark, Patrick Lichfield was the Queen’s first cousin once removed and the royals often called upon him to record their most high-profile occasions.
He was chosen by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh to take the official pictures of her Golden Jubilee in 2002. Almost years 20 years previously, he photographed Prince Charles’ wedding celebrations.
He had three children from his 11-year marriage to Lady Leonora Grosvenor, sister of the Duke of Westminster, and his most recent partner was the biographer, Lady Annunziata Asquith.

Altria Group, the largest tobacco firm in the world and the number-17 name in the Fortune 500, conducts its cigarette business through the Philip Morris chain. And because man cannot live by nicotine and tar alone, Altria Group maintains an 85-percent holding in Kraft Foods, which is the world’s second-largest food company.
So Kraft is run by a cigarette company. Yum. I wonder what they put in their cheese? Is that tar & ammonia I smell?
This is why I like Annie’s Mac & Cheese. Prince Charles would be proud of me.
