Andrea and Pierre catch World Cup fever – Hello Magazine

Princess Caroline’s sons looked like a force to be reckoned with as they ran out onto the pitch alongside the other members of the ‘Star Team For Children’. Andrea and Pierre Casiraghi were strutting their stuff in the Luis II stadium this week.

Morton’s Claims

May 24th, 2006 No comments

Andrew Morton is writing more and more about Diana’s love life. He claims he wants to reveal more information that was conveniently unaddressed in previous books. The excuse? Some information had been left out “out of respect for her [Diana's] wishes”. Suddenly, her wishes no longer matter? Or are we just making things up for the sake of it, Mr. Morton?

Sleaze-extraordinaire. Unbelievable. Someone get this man a hobby, and quick!

Engagement Announcement

May 8th, 2006 No comments

On Friday, 5th May 2006, I was proposed to by the most wonderful man in the world.

Aaron and I have not yet set the date, but that will happen shortly. Right now, we’re ringing everyone and telling them the good news!

Some of you may remember the tribute I made for our very first anniversary on “Mandy’s British Royalty”. It was a very special day, that May 5th 2002. It was the first full year, and we knew that there would be many more happy years to come. And now, upon the occasion of our 5th anniversary, we’ve become engaged. Now we look forward to many more years not just as boyfriend and girlfriend, but as husband and wife.

This is a very special time, a time to celebrate with my Soulmate. To Aaron I say: I LOVE YOU! Here’s to all the years we will share together.

My birthday

May 3rd, 2006 No comments

I celebrated my birthday last weekend. I am now 26, and loving every minute of it!

It really makes me think: Queen Elizabeth (The Queen Mum) turned 80 the year I was born. She passed away when I was 22. So if I had a baby this year, that means the child would be about 22 years old and out of college when Elizabeth II passes away.

The very possible longevity of the Queen really gets put into perspective when I think of it in those terms. My own kid, graduated and in his/her 20′s. That’s a long time.

I am so happy to think that the Queen will be around for my children to know her in contemporary terms. You couldn’t ask for a better role model.
