Once more a scandal rears its head. However, in this article by Catherine Mayer, a good point is made: Not one report named the aide or the supposed blue-blooded target of the alleged plot.
The tale appears to contain all the elements of a blockbuster: blackmail, sex, drugs — and a member of the British royal family. On Oct. 28, the Royal Blackmail Plot was splashed across the morning newspapers in the U.K., setting Britons spluttering into their porridge. Two men, according to these front-page reports, had been arrested last month after asking for £50,000 (about $100,000) in return for a video purporting to show a royal aide taking cocaine.

I’m happy to say that Mandy’s British Royalty is back online! It is still in it’s skeleton version, but the information is being put back together and that’s the most important thing.

The Child Health site is a wonderful place to donate food or medicine to needy children. On the site, I found the beautiful Maori twist necklace, and the purchase of each one will fund health services to save or improve the lives of 4.5 children.

The good people at Bletchley Park and I are offering a new stamp cover for another special occasion!
HM The Queen and HRH The Duke of Edinburgh celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary next month (20th November). I have had the privilege to design this stamp cover also, in celebration of such a great milestone.
I look forward to its release and hope you enjoy it, too.

I have just added a new book to my online “bookcase” at Amazon.com. Diana, by Sarah Bradford
is an extremely revealing book that I simply had to include. Royal Representative reader Kelly asked if I had read the book. Since I had read Sarah Bradford’s book on the Queen, Kelly wanted to know if I had read her book on Diana. I said that I hadn’t, but wanted to.
I decided to finally go down to the book store and buy my own copy. I pored over it and started developing a review (due in December). Take a look at the reviews at Amazon and see if it is a book that you want to include in your own collection.
