Letizia of Spain’s New… Nose?

September 27th, 2008 Mandy 6 comments

Letizia, Crown Princess of Spain, has undergone surgery to correct a “deviated septum” said spokesmen from the Royal Palace.

Click this link to view a before-and-after photo of the Crown Princess. The removal of the small bump on her nose has subtly changed her appearance. It’s a case of “you know there’s something different, but you just can’t place your finger on it”.

I think it has definitely changed Letizia’s face, but she still looks pretty. There was nothing wrong with her before, though. She was just as lovely. Perhaps the deviated septum story is real, but these days I just can’t trust that line…

Thank you to The Royal Forums

The Monarchist Initiative – Serbia

September 20th, 2008 Mandy No comments

I have been featured in a post at The Monarchist Initiative.

The Monarchist Initiative is a Serbian movement that aims to restore monarchy and its ideals to the country. They discovered my site and the blog through – I believe – the link to the Serbian royal family which I put up about a month ago.

Thank you for the honor. It is always nice to see another pro-monarchy movement on the rise!

Choice and Power: The Truth

September 13th, 2008 Mandy 2 comments

Theodore Harvey of RoyalWorld has written a truly wise post about the differences between an unelected head of state in a constitutional monarchy vs. an elected politician. Theodore says:

For if power tends to corrupt, than surely it is more dangerous to entrust it to the sort of person who has spent most of his life seeking it than to someone who has not sought it at all.

German? Get over it.

September 7th, 2008 Mandy No comments

Tell me if this sounds familiar:

oh yea! how come we had two f-ing dictators in britain then moron? thatcher (a warmonger) AND BLAIR (ANOTHER WARMONGER) most of the british f-ing hate the royal family now, o yeah and by the way the f-ing royal family are german, their name isnt windsor, their real name is saxa coburg gotha, they had to change their name to windsor during the first world war because it didnt look good them being related to the f-ers who were killing our boys in the trenches…f-k the royal family

You guessed it! It’s the confusing and cuss-littered diatribe of an anti-monarchist. Oh, the pain it causes me to think that I am even the same SPECIES as some of these people. Egad!

The above was a recent YouTube comment on one of my videos which sent me into an irrepressible fit. I’m so very tired of hearing republican ventriloquist dummies point out the Germanic background of the Queen and her family.

This is the year 2008. World War Two ended in 1945, and World War One even earlier. You do the math. Germany isn’t even communist anymore. The wall fell, remember? That country is going about its daily life in modern times. It’s sad that anti-Royalists cannot do the same.

The Royal Family of the United Kingdom has not been Germanic since Queen Victoria. Her husband was a German, but she was born in England. Her heirs were born in England. Many married into German houses,  but the main branch of the Royal Family continued living in England and royal babies are being born there all the time! How far along do you have to be, genealogically speaking, to actually be considered a native for heaven’s sake? It’s all getting a bit ludicrous now.

The thing that angers me the most is that there are people blowing up buses and buildings who are not screamed at as being their particular ethnicity. No, they are referred to as being “British born”. The media wants to make sure that we all know that they’re British, just like tea and crumpets! Let’s get rid of the Queen, though, because she may start goose-stepping her way through Ascot any minute.

Here’s a question: Can ANY of you think on your own? Is it possible? It’s one thing to have a shared opinion, but to keep parroting the same dry, tired, old nonsense is absurd. Call us when you have a real argument! If you’re feeling lost, here are some tips!

YES: I do not believe that the monarchy is worth the tax dollars. [Debate ensues]

NO: The f-ing royal family are german, their name isnt windsor, their real name is saxa coburg gotha

YES: I wish to remove what I believe to be an undemocratic and unjust head of state. [Debate ensues]

NO: f-ck the royal family
