Third Parties ARE Viable

Yes, we do have more than just the “Obama or McCain” choice, but you’d never know it by watching our media. Take a look at who else is running…

This is not just information for non-Americans, it’s important information for people in the U.S. who are actually going to vote in a few days! There are other choices besides the politically-mired, special interest candidates with billions of dollars.

No matter who you vote for, though, always remember that they work for you. Whether you’re in the U.K. voting for an MP or the United States where you elect senators and representatives, make them do their work for their people.

Royal ceremonies

October 23rd, 2008 No comments

I updated the ceremonies page a few weeks ago, but I don’t think I posted the update here. Recently added is the list of major royal weddings throughout the generations, along with details of the coronation and music used in the ceremony.

This is a great YouTube video about the coronation – details and footage from the day ( Long to Reign Over Us)

Wedding Album

October 19th, 2008 2 comments

If anyone is curious to see wedding photos, you can see them at Photobucket. Personally, I love looking at people’s wedding albums. I’m a big romantic. I am also nosy and love to see the dress chosen, tiara worn, etc. There are only a few items in it so far, and they are not the professional photographs, just candids.

My entire wedding ensemble was inspired by Crown Princess Letizia of Spain. Slim-fitted gown, long veil, and rounded tiara. My gown’s train wasn’t very long, which I liked. It was small but flowing, and the cathedral-length veil did the rest. Great day!
