Paul, You Need To Get Serious Help When:
You think you’re a celebrity for selling out a dead woman.
You’re a willing participant on a reality show about ‘Princess-making’.
You’re a willing participant on a second reality show.
You make a website all about yourself and your “achievements”.
You have professional photos made of yourself in various “serious” poses.
You go on tour.
You act like your achievements aren’t made on the coattails of a dead Princess.
You lie to a High Court.
You lie to a High Court and then say you were being “naughty” for doing it.
When you are telling others that you hope they can sleep at night, even though you refuse to return to the UK to explain inconsistencies in your testimony.
Here is the Talking Point transcript from the BBC regarding the Burrell trial.
It is interesting that media lawyer Mark Stephens is so pro-monarchy, he’s actually anti-monarchy. Confused? Don’t be. Look at what he said, then tell me if you agree with me:
I’ve represented a number of Royal servants and ex-Royal servants and all of them have had this great, great discretion - they’re the sort of servants that you really would want in your own home because they are so discreet - they just don’t tell you anything about what goes on in the Royal household and rightly so.
This will probably not go over too well with the general public. Taxpayer money has been spent, it has been regarded as ‘wasted’, and many people have accused the Queen of interfering. In light of this atmosphere, it is not a smart idea to talk as if we could even have servants or know about the world of courtiers. Stephens needs a more even-handed approach, and by not doing that he is making the Queen and the family look bad or as if they have something to hide. Comments?
I do. I need to get clean after reading about Paul Burrell. The Sun newspaper in London has uncovered a video in which Burrell speaks about misleading the coroner, British High Court judge Lord Justice Scott Baker.
Burrell freely admits he knew that he broke the law by lying to the inquest, adding: “I was very naughty.”
I was very naughty!? Now is not the time to be playing the coquette in a matter this serious, Paul. I know it is your deep desire to actually be a blonde, beloved Princess, but right now your life and credibility are on the line.
To read further, take a look at The Times. I wish this inquest would end, but how can it with people like Burrell?!
The former butler of Britain’s Princess Diana believes he should play a key role in Princes Harry and William’s memorial concert for their late mother.
Paul Burrell saw himself as one of Diana’s closest confidants and is reportedly expecting to be consulted on plans for next year’s commemorative event marking the 10th anniversary of the princess’ untimely death in 1997.

The man has no right to be there. He revealed Diana’s personal business and he is a complete media hound. But I say, if her sons want him there, then I guess Burrell participates.
Yes, this is getting embarassing. MORE ‘revelations’? Give it up, Paul, you look desparate.
But Paul Burrell obviously doesn’t seem to mind, though. He has no shame, proudly plugging another book of his ‘intimate’ anecdotes. Even I feel embarrassed. Indeed, people everywhere are cringing. This is so ludicrous.
How long can he go on in this vein, feeding stories to the media that “something big” is always right around the corner, writing books on things he’s already covered?

Speaking of hangers-on, I would like to take this opportunity to post this open letter to Mr. Paul Burrell, whose website I’ve just viewed. Much to my own chagrin.
Dear Mr. Burrell,
I find your status as a quasi-celebrity highly questionable. How long will you go on making ‘appearances’ and writing books, living off the name of the late Princess? If you truly want to help people remember Diana, why not work for her charitable causes or her estate, rather than simply pose as a celebrity? Do something of worth for her before you tour American cities and hock your “intimate” revelations just to pad your own ego.
I laugh at your criticism of Simone Simmons. Of course you don’t like her - she’s competition in the Princess of Wales Fame stakes.

If you look around his website, it seems that he is pretending to be like Diana. It is extremely creepy.
Every year since her untimely passing, Diana’s name & her hangers-on looking for fame and money always pop up around this time. There’s always something that happens suddenly within the July 1st - August 31st time span, the date of her birth and the date of her death respectively. It’s like a spotlight for people. Even The Independent agrees with me.
So when this time of year rolls around, you know that the latest news is going to be one of two things: Accident revelations, or Affair revelations. Or both!
Diana was not especially adept at keeping monogamous. We all know the Charles and Camilla affair, but that’s what made it distinct - it was just CHARLES and CAMILLA. That’s it. Diana, on the other hand…
But no one could be THAT crass and loose. Give me a break. Every five seconds someone is coming up with a story that he had an ‘encounter’ with The Princess of Wales. And the latest guy is poking around looking for one MILLION pounds for a book deal, in order to - you guessed it - tell the ‘truth’.
Sebastian Rich - award winning cameraman - is on a search for a book deal. But will publishing houses even give him the time of day? I certainly hope not. Diana’s love affair stories have become so frequent, that no one could possibly be interested in it any more. Just look at how this latest farce reads! All you have to do is just write in the latest name:
“BLANK is now hawking the claims around leading publishing houses in the hope of securing himself a £1 million book deal, claiming the ‘truth’ should now be told.
But a spokesman for Prince Charles insisted the claims are untrue and ‘hurtful’ to Princes William and Harry.
Friends of the late princess have also attacked BLANK’s decision to make the claims public, pointing out that Diana - who died in a Paris car crash in 1997 - is not here to defend herself. “
Sound like a form letter type of article? That’s because it is.
I wrote a commentary a while back, about Burrell and the trial. Here is a snippet:
“Since Paul Burrell has sold his story exclusively to one paper, other papers have been furious, out to damage his reputation further and damage the reputation of the monarchy out of spite”.
Wow.
The more I see and hear of this man, the more this sentence is a flagrant lie! Damage his reputation? I laugh! The man has no scruples, and proves it time and again. He needs no help in damaging his reputation! Burrell is now challenging the heir to the throne - i.e. William - he is now so desparate.

“I would also like to point out that following the collapse of my Old Bailey trial last year, no one from the royal family contacted me or said ’sorry’ for the ordeal myself, my wife and my sons were put through,” Burrell said.
Sure Burrell… is this the same sorry you want for the “ordeal” of parading around New York like a quasi-celebrity? The same ordeal of the limelight you love and exploit?
If this is all such an ordeal, then why are you constantly on TV? Why are you writing books? I’m sorry, you wanted to give Diana a ‘tribute’. Again. And again. And some more…
Diana sure had a ‘rock’ and soulmate in you: you carry on abusing the royal family just so you can be seen. Two of a kind.
“It is not only deeply painful for [Harry and me] but also for everyone else affected and it would mortify our mother if she were alive today and, if we might say so, we feel we are more able to speak for our mother than Paul. We ask Paul please to bring these revelations to an end.”
- Prince William
(fed up, like the rest of us. Amen)
