Haute Royale Mash-up: Princess Marie

I love the buttons on HRH Princess Marie’s jacket (seen here during her visit to Florence, Italy) so I was inspired to find a similar look.
Then I saw Marie in a double-breasted grey jacket matched with a black turtleneck and black pants. I really loved this look, but I really liked the buttons on the jacket above, so I went with this gem, an Apt. 9® Peplum Wool Jacket with large dome-shaped buttons:
Grey jacket, awesome buttons, black turtleneck: check, check, and check! Now for the pants.
In the photo above, Marie is wearing black boots. I wear it with black boots, as well. I also have a grey pair if I feel so inclined (from Payless).

Haute Royale: Dress Like a (Victorian) Princess
Thanks to Polyvore, we can even piece together an ideal outfit from the days of Queen Victoria.
Below, the queen’s sixth child, Princess Louise. This stylish, artistic princess was the most independent of all of her sisters. While the other girls were in Europe, married off to princes and dealing with political turmoil, Louise was becoming part of the London social scene and attending art school.

Why yes, I DO excel at everything!

I’ve been looking at a lot of styles for my “back to school” wardrobe lately. Interestingly, Ivanka Trump’s clothing line seems to have a similar style to the phenomenal outfits of Princess Letizia of Spain.
As you know, I am all about looking stylish and classy (ahem: Haute Royale), and Ms. Trump’s fashions have all of that and more – they are sleek, simple, and elegant.
Along with her eponymous clothing and luxury jewelry lines, Ivanka is also one-third of the powerful Trump real estate troika with brothers Donald Jr. and Eric. They work tirelessly under their father, Donald Trump, and are also key players in his TV show “The Apprentice”. Not only is Ivanka classy, smart, well-spoken, and successful beyond words, she also has style that rivals that of a European royal. Trump card, indeed!
