I’ve just received the book “Tiaras: Past and Present” by Geoffrey Munn. It looks fantastic, and when I’m done, I will write a review. This is definitely going to go on The List.

Who advised Camilla to turn Diana’s Prince of Wales feathers necklace into a brooch? The diamond and emerald trinket was shown in a side-by-side comparison on each woman in the latest issue of Ok! Magazine. Even if the piece did not belong to Diana personally, it still seems a bit controversial for Camilla to wear something that once belonged to the Princess of Wales.
Auction bidders will have a chance to take home a piece of royal history next week when personal belongings of Italy’s last queen go under the hammer in London. Items, which include jewellery, paintings and furniture once owned by the late Queen Marie Jose, are being sold by her daughter Princess Maria Gabriella of Savoy. The princess will use the profits from the sale to pay a tax bill and maintain the family home in Geneva.
