People over at OurKingdom are debating about the fate of the UK. Some are suggesting an Anglo-Celtic bloc within the European Union (should the UK join), and refer to this possibility as a “decentralised Albion, with a Council of the Isles”.

Others are speaking up saying, “For England, a “confederated” United Kingdom would be nothing but gain. The obsession among Westminster politicians with keeping the union is archaic … An autonomous Scotland, a country as big as Denmark, should liberate the English parliament to enjoy a politics freed of the alien encumbrance of Scottish seats … It should also liberate England to consider its localism, its neglected Anglo-Saxon history and culture, without having to “take into account” the Scottish (or Irish or Welsh) ingredients of that curious vacuity, Britishness.”

Here’s the latest attempt to make bland the British nation. Your own government, like here in the US, is going to stab you in the back.

[Ed. - Just to let you know - before I’m sent thousands of flaming emails of hatred - that yes, I know that there are people who don’t want the monarchy for one reason or another, and they would be more than happy that the Labour Government is pushing for such a move. The reason I say “stabbed in the back” is because not only are monarchists being betrayed, the head of state betrayed, but in the end, those of you who are republicans will be betrayed too. The politicians are doing it even now. These people want to be rid of a distinct British icon, at times viewed as specifically English, and they will play on republican feelings for their own end.]

As mentioned in an earlier post, Marie-Chantal of Greece and her husband, Prince Pavlos, welcomed a fifth child whose name had yet to be known.

It has been announced that their 3rd son is named Aristidis Stavros, who is a prince of Greece and Denmark. His paternal grandparents are ex-King Constantine of Greece and Queen Anne-Marie of Greece (and a princess of Denmark).

The latest audio is up and running at RoyaltyNow!. It seems that when I promise a show on a specific time and date, something happens that forces me to postpone it. I apologize for the delay of this show, as I feel it is extremely interesting and is a great topic for discussion.

Crown Princess Marie-Chantal of Greece gave birth to her fifth child, a son, the day before her thirteenth wedding anniversary with her husband, Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece.

The new baby joins the royal couple’s four other children: 11-year-old Maria-Olympia, nine-year-old Constantine Alexios, and three-year-old Odysseas-Kimon.

While the family continue to use their royal titles, the Greek monarchy was actually abolished in 1974 with the rise of the Hellenic Republic. The king is referred to as “ex-King” Constantine of Greece.

The former Marie-Chantal Miller, daughter of the duty-free shops “king” Robert Miller, married Prince Pavlos July 1, 1995 in a traditional Greek Orthodox ceremony in London.

Queen Elizabeth II has stripped Robert Mugabe, Zimbabwe’s strongman president for nearly 30 years, of his honorary knighthood as a “mark of revulsion” at the human rights abuses and “abject disregard” for democracy over which he has presided, the British Foreign Office announced Wednesday. I suppose Mugabe’s another one who wants to replace the British monarchy with a republic.

Britain should get rid of the monarchy, says the United Nations. The UN Human Rights Council said the UK must “consider holding a referendum on the desirability or otherwise of a written constitution, preferably republican”. [Telegraph]

Apparently, it was the Sri Lankan envoy who raised concerns over the British monarchy. Sri Lanka is part of the Human Rights Council along with Saudi Arabia and Cuba.

Saudi Arabia and Cuba. Since when did either of them have the right to ignore their own human rights records and jump on the backs of the British, telling them what to do? Not only that, but the UN itself was involved with the oil for food scandal.

This is just another example of outside forces trying to dictate what the British do in their own country. If it isn’t the European Union, it’s the UN. No one will be satisfied until Britain is destroyed, turned into a republic where nothing is remotely recognizable. Enjoy your jolly nice tea and Queen now, they sneer. That’ll all soon be a part of history.
