Well, the next best thing was to get a set of miniatures. This set was a really cute way to remember our visit – it was in the form of a board game called Outrage! Steal the Crown Jewels.

You must navigate through the Tower of London and steal one (or all) of the five Jewels – The Sword of State, the Sceptre, St. Edward’s Crown, the Orb, and the Prince of Wales’ crown. You must be sure to have fare in the form of an Elizabethan coin, which you use to get on the “ferry” and cross the Thames to safety. You can then choose to return to the game in progress to steal more jewels from the Tower or take them from another player.

All the equipment necessary to steal the jewels must be gathered while you move around inside the Tower looking like an innocent visitor. Raven cards tell you what to do and how to move, while Tower cards tell you what tools you have.

It is a great little game! Have a look at some of the pictures below. I need to get a clearer shot of the “Prince of Wales’ crown” because I need a second opinion. This particular game piece does not look like Charles’ crown at the time of his investiture, it looks like Queen Victoria’s small diadem.
