Buckingham Palace has embraced the latest technology in social networking.

The as-you-go updates from Twitter provide the latest news from the Palace, becoming something of a digital Court Circular.

You can find the 140 character blurbs from Buck House under http://twitter.com/BritishMonarchy.

In October 2007, the Palace launched The Royal Channel at YouTube, which became an immediate hit. From butlering at Buckingham Palace to restored newsreels from days gone by, the Queen struck public relations gold by providing an easily accessible, documentary-style look at royal life on YouTube.

Yes, the art pages have returned! “Mandy’s Royal Artists” was a series of pages featuring the public’s works of art based on a royal theme. Found on Mandy’s British Royalty several years ago, the pages were lost during the website’s transfer to a new server. Now they return in the form of an art blog.
